What if we pay for items that do not make the 15-item cutoff? The freeride jersey is the most interesting item to me, but I am not sure that 14 others will agree.
This deadline is coming up quick!

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
The samples were forwarded by ShipitAPO on Monday. Not sure they will make it this week, but should have them next week.
The 29th is coming soon! We can push that back if we want, but our ship date will push back as well. As for the 15 piece minimum. If our order does not meet the minimum quantity, it will not go into production, and you will not be charged. I have some concerns about meeting minimum quantities as well. I guess we will see what happens ... Christmas shopping for friends and relatives?

Just to make sure I understand - It's a 15 piece minimum per item type (i.e. 15 SS jersey's; 15 LS jersey's; 15 bib shorts, etc)?

Don't worry...I will get a FR jersey. Now all we need is 13 more.

Pretty much. One of the reasons we went with Voler, is they group like items for minimum quantities. So all short sleeve items are combined, all bottoms, all long sleeve items, accessories, freeride jerseys, and undershirts. For example jackets are grouped with the long sleeve jerseys and arm warmers. Here are the groups: http://www.voler.com/Custom/Products/

We had to send the final design to the Clown Union International (CUI), as soon as we receive their approval, you can see the jersey.
Our in-house graphic designer is working on a high resolution redux of the DS2 concept. It will be posted in the coming days.

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
The DS2 design is coming along... These are going to look GREAT, especially with the long sleeves! The color pattern MJ came up with is working out really well. You all will want freeride jerseys. Dude and I are ordering a few each, but we will need fifteen.
MJ, can we adjust sizes after we checkout our cart (bag) on the Voler site? The numbers for chest size don't jive with the numbers for waist and weight. Either that, or some of us will be ordering the Voler sports bra, too.

Are we suppose to submit our order now or do we need to wait for the jersey to be added to the Team Store

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
I'll check into the sizing deal. I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem. I have a Freeride size kit in the mix, so you will be able to try them on, befor the 29th. I think as long as sizing changes are made before production, all is good. However, I hear the Voler sport bra is very supportive!
Mark - The order deadline is the 29th. We won't actually have the final proof from Voler untill after that. They do this because sometimes small clubs, like us, don't meet the minimum orders. The images in the store right now, and product descriptions are there for ordering, there will be no KMC kit in the store. But, feel confident that the DS2 John is working on will be rad.
Again, all, the sizing kit is in route. I expect it early next week. I'll post up when it arrives, and everyone can try stuff on before they place their order.

I was afraid of this, I've been all over the Voler site and don't see the KMC store anywhere
I take that back, it must be blocked at work...looks good from the house. But, I can't bring myself to pay for the jersey's I selected without confirming the sizing....

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
MJ has a sizing kit coming very soon. It is samples of generic jerseys. We are all going to get together like a bunch of ladies and try clothes on so we get the sizes we need. I saw the quantity of goods coming in the sizing kit, and it is expansive. All of the different cuts of jerseys. Long sleeve and short sleeve. Different materials and padding options for shorts. I was blown away by what they are sending for us just to use as a fit kit.
The only thing you will be going in blind about is the final design. I can't see how it could go wrong with what we have designed so far. John has done a ton of work and Voler will likely only touch it up and make changes that affect construction or scaling. Sort of a leap of faith, but then this is only bike clothing and not a house we are buying.

Looking at all the options I can see that this could get seriously expensive! My family has been doing tri's, but being here we want to move over to the MTB scene a little more. Outfitting all of us could put a serious dent in the bank account!!

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
It's expensive, but it's good kit from the looks of it. Use your yearly clothing allowance for you active duty..
Okay, here you go. This is the layout for DS2. I will work on the slogan, website, etc. text later, this stuff isn't exactly fast work to do. Takes quite a bit of time overall. Anyway, here's what you get:
Arm warmers... wait till you see the arm warmers.

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
Does anybody see any need to go further than this (below)? It looks sharp, let's forget the flags and crests and go with the simple look. I think it is really appealing. It isn't nascar. It's designer style. Le velo, baby.

can anyone clue me into why photos are cut off? is this because of something on my end, or the way the pictures are loaded?

Re: KMC Cycling Team Store - Voler
That has to do with the way the forum sets width dynamically. If you expand your window to max width for your screen, you should get the whole pic- otherwise, right click and select "view image" to see the whole thing.
I still want to get the arm warmers and bibs worked out. Any complaints/suggestions on the design should probably be put forward at this point, because I'm putting a bit of time into this.

I like what you have done, John! Thanks for putting the time into this! I'm all for a clean, simple, and stylish kit. I really like what you did with the crests on the forum banner. What do you think they look like in place of the BTA pig on the chest? Was thinking it might give that German flair we were talking about. Your call. I'm excited to see the bibs and arm warmers.
