Tuesday and Thursday German Club Ride.

Hello All you Roadie's

If you want to challenge yourself then come out to the Queidersbach German Club ride.

This is for those who know how to do a pace line and can ride a straight line.

You can you stay in the back so that you don’t interfere with the pace line.

Below is the profile and the data from the first ride of the year with them. This will only get faster as time goes on. So come out early so you don’t get dropped.

This ride starts at the center of town on the huapt Strasse at 5:30 Tuesday and Thursdays.

Not sure I didn't go tonight because of the rain.

This is definitely a great ride for anyone thinking about racing on the road this year. Great speed work and pacelining. I'll be out there next week.

Yep i was right it was fast! I started to take my rotation until they hit the afterburners then I was just hanging on to the main group.

I'll be interested to see your GPS info, Jim. I had an average of 21.5mph over 36mi. This includes the slow roll to Q-bach and back into Bann!

I must have slowed down after we split the group went to Bann and Armin and I went to Queidersback.

No, it was pretty chill after you turned off. I used my Powertap for the distance/speed, so don't know which one is more accurate. Regardless...it was smokin fast through the valley. The average was probably 28mph for that section. I plan to make this a weekly thing and it would be nice to have company.

Hey the group looked like a good size today! I had to start around 330 so I could be done around 530. I left with some Of the Hobby class riders. Big Mammas comin home tomorrow so yanow I have to Mr. MOM the house. There is also a ride on Thursdays at an easier pace. Hey Jim we gonna start doing some Jkruze rides from Vogelwegh on the weekends?

I will be there thrusday for the easy ride. I will plan some weekend rides Starting this weekend but the will have to be early rides starting around 8. This weekend will have to be easy since You are racing on Sunday and I will providing I get my license in time. I will post up later.

I am planning on being out for the ride Thursday, work permitting. I do look forward to some long weekend rides as well. The next two I am gone for, but after that, I love road riding and want to get faster. I am not 100% confident it would be a good idea to show up on Tuesdays, so I might start with some Thursday riding.

Thursday ride is much slow and is enjoyable.

Eric, that was a pretty fast "easy" ride. Last week was much more mundane. Once you crest that hill though you can probably stay on with the group for most of the ride. They ripped the group up at the last real climb too. It was fun, I plan on being there next Thursday again.

Cool Brian! I really thought I'd catch up after I got to the top of the hill...but, I couldn't see anyone and decided to go straight, so I assume the group made that first right...at least I hope so, or else I really suck. I kept going for several miles before I turned around.

Yeah we hooked a right just a bit after the climb.

My first ride in a group I got dropped on the first climb, hit a car on the way down, got dropped on the next one and rode back by myself. So, not too many people can say that they have done worse than that!
