If you are interested in riding at SiS and did not get on the list let me know, we have a few openings. If you know of anyone who would want to ride tell them to pm me. The ladies team also needs another rider.

Speaking of SiS, I/we are in need of a couch...yes that's right...a COUCH!!! Of course we do not wanna pay anything for this couch but I/we will haul away your un-wanted couch for free...just don't plan on getting it back. Please let me know when and where...hopefully before SiS...and will come get it...

a TV and VCR would be awesome as well!!!

Went out with The Dude today and did the SiS course which I think will be a much faster course this year because there has been a lot of cars driving on the fire roads make them smooth and flowy...two weeks to go until THE Event of the year...

I'd recommend gears unless you go 29er...

Phaty, I hope you didn't missunderstand...we wouldn't DARE leave a couch behind after such a great event as SiS. It's just whoever donates a couch to us wouldn't want to have it back after all the beer and sweat that would be soak into the thing when SiS is finished. We plan to leave the place cleaner then when we arrive...

Just a reminder, not only do you need a good light for this race, but you also need to have a red rear light. If you dont have one make sure you get one. It is mandatory to have both at the race. If you are looking for a good headlight, I got a great deal on one out at Franks today. 900 lumen light for dirt cheap. go check em out.

Was it suitable for a cyclocross bike? If the women are still looking for someone I may be able to ride, but only have my cyclocross bike right now.

NO the SIS Downhill is NOT suitable for a Cyclocrossbike - you can walk it yes but not riding. Plus there is a new single trail full of roots that would be a killer too.
We have a Cyclocross Team there every year and they us MTBs

I have a MTB you can borrow if it fits you...

The bike fleamarket is usually ace if you are into old bike parts - and want to pimp up your current one.
But the money for the parts on that table go to the Haiti Charity. If you want to bring something you want to sell at your tent - you are free to do so.
Kendall is now named MC Moshman - or rather MC Moshhammer - and will be with me on stage at the Schlammbein Gig ... we both have no idea what will happen ... EPIC is all I can say!
Race course is a mess as there was some car traffic (!!!) over the last few weeks because they had a deviation through the forrest - but all those mountainbikes who kill the trails ... yeah right.
We will still have a great course as the singletrack "Wurzelpfad" is back on the menu!
Don't forget tail light - or as I call it ass light!
If you never been there don't be too surprised about the abuse you get from myself ... since Bush is out of office and Armstrong retired I am running out of Americans I can give s#*t ...

Phatty, you have pics of the jerseys and t-shirt? I also don't believe this Kendall character actually exists. I spent four days in France looking for him in the bright assed KMC cycling jersey and never found him. Maybe he is part Leprechaun. Looking forward to next weekend and thanks for all of your hard work.
