Schlaflos im Sattel SiS aka Sleepless in the Saddle

This is the best weekend of the summer, camping, chilling, live music and mountainbiking at night through the Pfalzerwald. Ride solo, doubles, a 4er team or gangbang (5 starters or more per team). If you are interested in taking part in this, drop me a line and I will put you on the list. Ladies, you need represent and get a team together this year.

It starts on Thursday 2 August with the race starting on Saturday the 4th and ending on Sunday the 5th

Again, if Noah doesn't do the weather forcasting, I will be camping this year. I call dibs on sharing a tent with Daniel again!

Okay Ladies and Gents, it's that time again. Get me the team names and list of the riders. Registration starts tomorrow at midnight and it would be nice to have a list to give to Phaty in a timely manner. It would really be great to have a ladies team out there to represent us this year.

Team DFL (Mark, Steve, Daniel and Matt) will be at it again this year. Who else is going to join in on the fun?

How dose the sign-up work this year??? Are you taking care of it or should we be looking on the web site??? Enquiring minds wanna know...

After tonight we will be exactly 30 days away from our annual pilgrimage to Weidenthal for SiS!!! The Dude gave me a little insight as to how things will be handled in the event he is unable to attend due to his commitments, but we will deal with that as we get closer to the event.

For now, we need anyone who might think they have an interest in attending this "event of the year" to speak up so that you too can be added to the prestigious list above...

As much as I don't want to say this...I need to be taken off the list for SiS. I will be TDY during this time and I can't guarantee that I will be back in time. Sorry and maybe next year

Based on the feedback I've received this is the list of KMC Cyclers attending "SiS 12". I will be submitting to Phaty before the end of the month:

Team DFL (John, Mark, Matt and Daniel)
gsmolin (George) Riding Solo
Kendall Riding Solo
Mike Larson Riding Solo

Make sure you bring that cozy tent again Daniel.

Remember there are no vehicles allowed on the grass this year. Drive on the track to download gear and then good luck finding somewhere to park. I recommend car pooling.

No pass for the campingbus? Tent cities give me flashbacks, it's a medical condition.

George and Kendall: I'm not sure if you are riding solo on purpose, or just failed to coordinate a team, like me. If you want to form a team, I'm open to the idea.

Is anyone planning on going out Friday to get a spot?
