MTB ride - SiS training event! 30-31 July
I'd like to get some distance in on the trails this weekend. New trail, old trail, even the reliable castle-hospital-woog-castle route works for me. Just want to start early enough in the day to grind for several hours. Saturday or Sunday, both work for me.

Hmmm... funny you should ask.... I was thinking about making another attempt at the Rodalben metric century-plus on Sunday...
Same plan as before... I think this time I'll stretch m neck before hand, and I will also load up in a way that I don't need a backpack...

I am looking at a Hockspeyer fire road special. Some power climb training for 50k. My legs are still whipped from Galibier and Alpe d'Huez.

Jeez, Matt- are you bragging or complaining? And exactly how many ales did you consume by the time you reached Dutch Corner? I figured one per switchback, in which case I'd need some serious recovery by the time I cleared the top.
I've merged plans with Jonesy to keep up the marathon pace: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
