The K.M.C. Cycling Club is a diverse group of people from across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) brought together by a common interest in cycling and cycling advocacy. Whether through racing, group rides, community involvement or social events centered on cycling, K.M.C. Cycling's primary purpose is to further the sport of cycling in the KMC, and provide a valuable cycling outlet to its members. We are a not-for-profit organization that values diversity, friendship and, above all, a good ride.

needed... road parts
needed... road parts

Yes, you read that right, I need to get some roadie parts.
I had considered building up a geared road bike, but instead I'm getting an older MTB that will replace my current all-round commuter, which is actually a cyclocross bike.
That means the cyclocross bike, which is now in a commuter setup, will be getting made back into a CX bike for road/path/fireroad riding and training.
Parts I need:
Road drop bar
Drop bar shifter/brakes for 8sp on the right and 2 spd on the left
Bar tape
I prefer trade and have the following to offer:
9er Air 9 disc tab steel 29er fork (would need to be repainted if you are not a big fan of spray-paint matte day-glo orange)
Ritchie comp handleber 31.8 clamp size narrow... not sure exact width
No-name black 27.2 by 350 offset seatpost flat black
Various other parts etc... see some of my other posts, though the trek frame, and velocity blunt wheelset are no longer on the trading block right now...
