TUE, AND THUR RIDES!

So are we ready to start those TUE and Thur Rides again! I've cleared MY Sched for THurs For the Next two monthes so I would'nt mind Leading out the group of new to med peeps. What do you guys think? Can we get it Added to the Calender for all to see?

I think I am game for starting up next week. Are we going to do the usual 1800 meeting time and use lights, or do we want to try to start earlier? The earliest I could start would be 1700. Tuesday the Landstuhl loop and Thursday Gwoog?

Thursdays are soccer practice days for my daughter so I will be out on those days for sure. I will likely wait till daylight savings to join the tuesday rides.

maybe start at 17:30 then shift back to 18:00 with DST.

I like Landstuhl Tues and GWoog Thurs. Agree w/ 1730 start time; no way I could get out of work and be over to either place by 1700.

Awsome so next week it is! I won't be there on Tuesdays do to baseball practice though. I think 1730 is a good time. See ya'll soon!

Is this going to be the "Official" thread for this Thursday's Group ride??? So far it looks like we're going to have a good turn out...and the weather is going to corporate...

I am sure we will make specific threads for the rides when we get them established and going.

Sorry but I'm out for the Castle this PM.

I'm bringing one of my teammates from SiS last year to the Thurs ride. He was a little intimdated about cycling with the likes of Kendall (who he remember cutting the watermelon at SiS), but I told him not to worry b/c I'm going to be really slow b/c I'm so out of shape and that this is a no drop ride.

I am down for Thur. No lights though so I will be following a beacon or something.

Daniel if you want lights, I've got an old set I can loan you. It's not the greatest, but it's enough for moderate trail riding in pitch dark.

I'll try to remember to charge them up and bring them in to work tomorrow, just stop by and grab them.

man, tonight sucked. great weather and even kendall decided to grace us with his presence, and i tear off my derailleur hanger with a rouge stick not 700 meters into the ride.

on my birthday, no less.

hope you guys had a great ride. i was looking forward to finally beating kendall up the long fire road climb.

Sorry I had to bail on you guys. My dentist said I couldn't do any strenous activities after the minor surgery I had.

What I’ve learned from last night’s Group ride:

If you show up to a KMC Cycling Group ride you might just witness a rare Krocko sighting

Sticks break Derailleur’s, hope you get it fixed before the next Group ride gsmolin

The hills are getting shorter but still hurt just as much if not more

Krocko’s a Sandbagger, complaining ‘bout being out of shape and adjusting your brakes so they drag the entire ride is no way to go through life.

Sharp’s got skills both riding the bike and working on them by turning down the noise level on them brakes

Red sure is a pretty color for a Rocky

The frogs are out in force making non-technical trails technical

Riding with a chest cold will make you wanna DIE!!!

my new derailleur hanger is supposed to be in from GB tomorrow, so i should be good-to-go for thurs.

I missed the deadline to take in-person classes and had to sign up for online... Oops... Guess my Thursday nights just freed themselves up
