Mission Statement

The K.M.C. Cycling Club is a diverse group of people from across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) brought together by a common interest in cycling and cycling advocacy. Whether through racing, group rides, community involvement or social events centered on cycling, K.M.C. Cycling's primary purpose is to further the sport of cycling in the KMC, and provide a valuable cycling outlet to its members. We are a not-for-profit organization that values diversity, friendship and, above all, a good ride.

Lunch rides would be good, South side gym is also a good spot. Any idea for routes/distance? I need a few more weeks recovery from fracturing a vertebrae a few weeks back, but early March I should be ready.

Sounds good to me. Hopefully this year you won't have to always ride to RAB and we can meet you over at ROB. I PCS in July so i won't be here the entire season. When did you want to start back up? Later.

No problem I try to ride at least 4 days of the week at lunch. Maybe 5 when the weather gets better. Congradulation on making 20.

did an hour lunch ride today the weather was great. Looking forward to have more that one on the road. Left from ROB today. Will be looking for more folks next wednesday. We can make a loop that passes by RAB on the way back or I can swing that way on the start. I want to have a few different routes instead of the same one each week.

Jim,

Would 1145 work? I won't be able to leave work until 1100 or so and by the time i get dressed and ride to ROB it may take 30 minutes. How far are you looking at? I would need to be back at Ramstein by 12:40.

1140 would be good and we will loop around and you can drop off at the gate instead of coming back to rob.

Works for me. I will let you know when I leave, probably take around 20 min to ROB. I wonder if I can go out the LVIS gate, it would cut 5 minutes off the time.
