Post by Zenkem on Fri Mar 20, 2015 9:08 pm

A couple of us are meeting at 1000hrs to do the F-Trail.  Time, Speed and Distance depend on the Group.  See Map below for meeting place:

Lidl
Zweibrücker Str. 15

Germany

I'll see if I can make it out. I have to replace brake calipers on a car on Sunday too (vehicle inspection crap).

Haven't had any problems, just make sure we are courteous to others on the Trail and keep moving...

Great. Any signs up specifically prohibiting riding?

I only know of one place where there's a sign, not that there aren't others, it's where you drop out of the Trail at the end of the Ride... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I loved the one ride I did at the F trail. I just wary of being ticketed.

I met a German mountain biker out there who was some sort of rep for the MTB Park Pfalzerwald. He said that they are not giving tickets out. I think that as long as you're not riding there on a sunny Sunday afternoon (which sux anyways due to the throngs of Germans on the trail), you're OK.

Good to know because I would like to ride there without fear of causing trouble.

Our Ride Sunday was without issue, ran into some German Hikers and Riders and lots of downed trees...

Going on 7 years riding the F-Trail... Never been ticketed. But I DI tend to go earlier when the hikers are scarce.
