How did the ride go? I went to the Stew Ride; it was nice getting out with a group again. Thanks to BigWheels for hosting, especially for providing beer and chili after the ride.

The Ride was awesome!!!  There were three of us, we left the Train Station at 1010hrs and rode up to Clausen then dropped into the tail end of the F-Trail A-side and continued on to the B-side.  We had a really good time until we came into some really heavy logging and had to Hike-a-bike for a bit. I would recommend staying away from the area one Km past the Switchbacks, 26.39Km mark on the Garmin profile below...

Garmin data is incomplete because my battery died:

I will, most unfortunately, be avoiding all MTB rides until the fall. By that time, I hope to be comfortably esconced at Ft. Lewis, though that is still up in the air. I just barely convinced my orthopedist that riding my road bike would not harm me, as long as I didn't wreck. The MTB will have to wait. Glad to see guys out riding, both MTB and road.

Glad to hear on the ride. I had to do the responsible thing and take care of some car stuff at the house. It was a crappy day on Sunday to hats off to those that got out!
