Calling all Triathletes!

I am trying to find other people interested in doing some triathlons this year. I know Dozer is still in the club. I have already registered for a couple of races this summer and I am looking for training/racing partners. I will be doing two Olympics to get started early in the season then two half IMs planned for right now. Interested! I competed in a couple a year when I was stationed in Washington. I would love to get back into them, if my schedule can fit in the training.

Funny you should mention it. I finally sucked it up and threw down for IM Mallorca in September. Bit of a stretch to sign up this far out due to the uncertainties of military life...but they've already got about 1700 signed up and probably will sell out in the next couple months. Hopefully it will all come together.

Will likely do Luxembourg and Wiesbaden 70.3s as well...but need to figure out if those are a good fit for a training plan...they may be too much; but Luxembourg was really nice last year. Definitely interested in some shorter Oly/Sprint to practice the transitions. Will send an email to get the latest.

Right now, pretty much riding exclusively indoors with 4-5x/week in the a.m. before work and then either run or swim at lunch or after work.

Thanks for doing this! I sent an email to get the list and look forward to meeting up to train. If anyone has the time and/or language skills to compile a similar list for the other disciplines (i.e road, MTb/dh, cyclocross, etc)the at would be awesome!
Also, if you haven't heard, one of the kingfish swim team coaches, Blake, puts on a swim clinic most days at noon at the ramstein pool. Nothing cosmic, but he'll put together an hour-long program and give technique pointers. He's a good coach and FAST so I listen. I'm mostly swimming after work right now as my daughter is on the swim team and that's when she's practicing. There's 2-3 lanes open and it's usually not crowded. But once her swim season is over next month I'll probably shift back to lunchtime swimming.

Dozer, sounds good. If you come up with a swim training schedule I can try and meet you on most of the days. I am currently in Austria and will return Tuesday morning. I will send you the list of races then. Look forward to training with you and doing some races.

I been in and out of the Tri scene for past 10 years. Did my first IM in 2012. I have not planned any races for this summer. Is this a good area for races?

Yes, Europe in general has plenty of races. If you send me your email, I will send you a list of races this summer that are close by to the KMC area.

I signed up for my first olympic distance! The Zurich Tri in July will be what I'm training for. I would like to start some brick training in April. Let me know if you want to ride or run.
