SIS Camp-Out/Set-Up Plan
OK, so I know Mark and I will be heading out to SIS on Thursday and staying until completion.
Who else plans on heading out for at least one overnighter.. and when do you plan on coming out there?
I plan on grilling brats and burgers Thursday night, and BBQ Pork Friday night. Will probably alos have cole slaw to go with the food both nights.
I don't mind sharing, but gotta know who plans on joining me, so I get enough grub. Also, if you do come, and want to join in on the fun, it doesn't hurt to bring some sort of 'potluck' goodies... maybe deserts, chips etc., depending on how many of us are actually there.
I plan on bringing:
-Tent for me (could hold one other person with reasonable dignity and comfort if need be)
-Easy-Up Shelter for Hang-out/Eating area
-Couple of Fest Table Set-ups
-Separate Shade-tent for bikes
-An OKish Work Stand
-Basic set of tools
-A cooler
-Radio
-Some lanterns etc.
-A few chairs maybe
wondering anyone has the following they are willing to bring, or loan to the effort:
-A 220-volt (or 110 volt maybe) generator
-A better work stand
MARK: What are you bringing this year?

Re: SIS Camp-Out/Set-Up Plan
I'll be there Thursday (furlough day!), and setting up in the van like last year. I don't have much more than a card table and some folding chairs. I can brew morning coffee, though.

If i remember correctly from last year, the open fire restriction did lighten a little and allow charcoal grills right? If so, is it a safe assumption tge same will appky this year?

Re: SIS Camp-Out/Set-Up Plan
Gas is the rule. Evidently we have been ignoring it all these years. Keep the charcoal grill small and hidden in our area and it will be cool. "low profile" was the phrase used.
If it doesn't rain again in the next few weeks you will not need to worry about it. There will be a fire ban again like in 2010.

I can bring my gas grill if needed. I have two two person tents and a one person bivy available as needed. I will want one of the tents for myself. I also have a decent collection of camping gear. If anyone needs something, post up and I will let you know if I have it.
