St Paddy's Day Ride 17 Mar 13
Two meetings ago it was mentioned we might do a St. Paddy's day ride of some sort and finish at the Irish Pub in Landstuhl...it is a 4 day weekend after all!!! Are we still up for this and when/where would we like to start
I'm willing to lend a hand for those who are interested in putting something together...

Let's make this happen and I will piggy back the March meeting to he event. Not a ton to discuss, so would be quick. Who has info on what the pub is doing that day?
Edit: Check here for full St. Paty's weekend lineup at the Blarney Stone. We could do Sat or Sun. https://www.facebook.com/BlarneyStoneIrishPubLandstuhl

I was already planning a road ride for Saturday or Sunday: https://kmccycling.forumieren.com/t1124-road-ride-17-18-mar
We could do the same loop we did last time, or some other route, instead of the Pfalzerwald ride.
I am also game for a trail ride conjunction with the meeting, and still hit the long route on the road bike on Sunday morning.

Ya...I was thinking that the breakfast sounded good. Should we make it Sunday at 1000 with an Irish breakfast for lunch afterward?

I vote Saturday with an MTB ride, Sunday with a road ride.

The weekend is looking as cold as the last time we did the RR loop, so I'll be sticking w/ the MTB. Either day works for me.

Sunday at 1000 sounds good, but are you planning on eating before the ride? Some of that Irish breakfast might end up on the trail.

I'll be there at 1000 for breakfast. We can hit the Burg trails afterward. This will be a short meeting just to get it in the books for Ramstein PO office. Since this one was not formally announced, there will be no substantive votes or other decisions made. We will plan on the April meeting being the opening to the 2013 season.

Well...it ended up being only Vel O'doc and Mcairborne for the full Irish breakfast. Neither of us were up for riding, so we just enjoyed the food and conversation. Only meeting business was discussing the design/purchase of a new banner, and the need to get the bank account squared away. I will get the minutes to Eurotrash for posting. Planning for a big meeting with ride in April...so let's hope for more spring-like weather.

Thanks for breakfast; blood sausage was quite tasty. I posted an interest thread for the banner: https://kmccycling.forumieren.com/t1144-club-banner#9656
