I'm in the market for a long 31.6 seatpost. Anything will do at this point.
Cheers,
Mike

Oh yes, yes I do! I'm sure the reduced drag of that post will compensate for not having the right gear ratio on those long, flat, fire roads! I forgot to mention, I need it for a MTB. I wonder if it would go into the frame far enough?!? I think the profile would compliment my fork ... we may be onto something. Next step will be a tubeless conversion with your magic sealant!

That may work Mark. Please let me know on the length.
I did not double check my facts and ended up ordering a 30.9 by mistake. I'll be returning that and looking for a temporary or permanent solution locally to complete my build. Since the frame is "scam-me-i'm-dumb", the longer post is my preference.

Re: 31.6 x 400 seatpost
Mike, I had this on my C'dale bad boy, which is a mountain frame. It looked schweet, and would definitely look schwiggity-schweet against a Niner carbon fork. You're welcome to try it for fit. It'll take out some of the jumblebumps on da booty during your ride with it's magical carbon fiber damping power. It's stiff and strong, and that's what she said micro-adjustable.

Mark. I checked the fit with a 350mm I had around the house. I need a 400mm.
Thanks for your response!
