Nikolaus tour
On 10 Dec some of the riders from Lambrecht(Gasbocker) are hosting a ride starting at 1100. The tour will be to a hut somewhere in the pfalzerwald between Lambrecht and Neustadt. At the hut you can get a gluhwein or what have you and then there will be a nighttime descent back to the start point. Lights will be needed to complete this ride. Good lights. The invitaton is open to anyone with a bike and a helmet. They will be posting the ride profile shortly at the following link. Decorating yourself and or your bike is encouraged. If you plan to attend please contact them through the link below. Thanks.

Your elbow gonna be up for it? I'd like to go... the hills are tall there, boy! I'll probably have to take the train, unless you got room in that pickup- but only if you drive yourself home this time.

Hoping it is. I am tired of not riding my bike. Let's see if this pans out.

That also sounds like a good idea. Is this the reenactments event they hold every year?

Re: Nikolaus tour
Not going to make it... rear shock is dead. After that last ride with Mark it wont even hold air for the 4 min ride to work.
Out till the replacement gets here.
I SO wanted to hit up this ride.

Re: Nikolaus tour
There is another opportunity to do a similar ride next weekend. I accidentally posted this in Club Events instead of MTB Rides...
Saw this on the Mountainbikepark Pfälzerwald e.V. Facebook page: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Christmas ride next Saturday (17 Dec) beginning at 1330 in Lambrecht to Forsthaus Breitenstein (they estimate 2 hrs). Based on the pictures it looks like a fire and Glühwein are waiting. Lights would be needed for the ride back..
