minutes May 4 2011

We discussed a lot last night! Please let me know if I missed anything. There is a lot under Open Forum so if you weren't able to make the meeting please make sure you scroll all the way down to find out what is going on!!

1. Approve/Amend previous meeting minutes--minutes approved

2. Community Outreach

Cub Scout Bike Rodeo--Jim needs five volunteers to assist with the various stations. Date is July 16th. Anyone interested should PM Jim or post


3. Racing ROB Monthly Timetrial, WTU Support Kleper, Ramstein ODR race in fall

ODR perimeter race in fall--Kirsten will touch base with STephen at ODR

Jim's monthly time trial will continue

4. PO Status (update)

Sylvia emailed and we are expecting approval of PO within the next few days. After this we will need a letter from Sylvia in order to create a bank account

5. Jerseys

Jerseys are finalized. Any orders will need to be sent to Steve NLT Friday, May 6th 2011!! Special shorts were not included but we are looking in to this.

6. open forum

MTB time trial was suggested. Official date will be posted.

Suggested adding Treasurer Report (to include where money is being allocated) and Membership Report to future agendas. Will also need to review the constitution and bylaws at next meeting so that everyone is familiar.

Board discussed holding next meeting at Thursty Nellys. Suggested making the time later (6:30 pm) and it would be more of a social format.

Mike will talk to Mark regarding a Park banner (or having one made)

Mike suggested a hill climb for charity. Suggested we could possibly coordinate with a German club.

Suggested raffling a bike for charity

Suggested maintaining a consistent jersey and a race jersey that would change

Main Goals: Jerseys (look in to shorts), PO status/bank account, events/fundraisers we need to make happen in the next few months
