Gwoog on Saturday

Going to ride gwoog on Saturday. Meeting at the gwoog parking lot at 0830. This is going to be a kinda slow relaxing ride trying to dust off the cob webs. No speed records here. Come on out if you would like to take a spin. For those of you unfamiliar with the trails, this is a good time to get to know them so you can lead group rides later on.

Daughter has soccer in Heidelberg Sat and Sun. Boo!

Woot. One more chance to get that first scratch on the bike. I hope the first scratch doesn't come from you "cleaning" your bike at home.

What's with all the whining and crying about the time?? I thought mountain bikers were tough???

@ spookyload--I may not have any scatches yet but my bike is at least one shade darker than the day I bought it

I never claimed to be tough... waking up without an alarm clock is one of the simple joys I look forward to all week...

I do hear you on that point. I'm the one who pressed for that time so I had to defend it

Sunday I'm going on the red wine walk in Freinsheim so I'll be hating my alarm clock ringing on Monday morning!

Yeah.... I'm not even gonna comment on 8:30 bein' early...

I won't be able to make this one, I'll be on my way to Ansbach to pick up some antique furniture.... Hopefully after having gotten in a couple hours riding!

Mark I think 0900-0930 is a better time. Temp tomorrow 33, that's gonna make for a chilly morning.

I was only thinking one thing this morning when I woke up and thought of you guys riding....Brrrrr

Great ride today, wasn't too cold, was just right. The sun was even shinning. Mark got to break in the new 29er. The elusive Kendall even dropped by the parking lot after the ride. Nice seeing ya dude.

I agree! Fabulous ride and even better company! It was cold but the strange thing is every time it snows (even just a little bit) the sun shines--and that to me feels great! See you guys soon...

Is this going to be a regular ride? I'm in for tomorrow if it is.

I'm planning on riding with Jim and Greg tomorrow morning so I won't be there tomorrow. We're going to map out a route for outdoor recreation. That post is under the heading outdoor rec visit if you're interested.

The Gwoog seems to be fairly regular though so I'm wondering if there are some other folks out there who are planning to do it...
