Startzeit: 09:30 Uhr

Start und Ziel: Regionale Schule in Lambrecht(Pfalz) in der Wiesenstraße
Start in Blöcken zu 50 Starterinnen bzw. Starter im Abstand von drei Minuten

Strecken: ca. 50 km und ca. 75 km mit zwei bzw. drei Verpflegungsstellen.
Höhenmeter und genaue Länge gibt es erst nach der finalen Abstimmung mit dem Forst und den anderen Genehmigern.

Anmeldung: Ab 01. Oktober 2011 geht das online und nur online.

Startgeld: 22,- € Grundgebühr und 5,- € zusätzlich für alle, die das Finisherpräsent haben wollen. Das Finisherpräsent kann bis zum 05. April bestellt werden. Danach nur noch falls Bestände frei sind.

Die Verpflegung im Zielbereich ist nicht im Startgeld enthalten.

Registration: From 01 October 2011 is the online and online only.

Entry fee: € 22, - basic charge and 5, - € extra for those who want to have Finisherpräsent. This can Finisherpräsent to 05 April can be ordered. Thereafter only if populations are free.

The food in the target area is not included in the entry fee.

Wow, less then 24hrs and there are already 73 riders registered...registration cuts off at 555 so hurry and get your name in for one of the best Marathons of the year...

I am registered! Seriously folks, if you plan on or think you might plan on riding this, register for it NOW. It will fill up fast. There are already close to 100 folks signed up and it hasnt been open for 24 hours yet. They only allow 555 riders each year. This will be the best marathon of of the 2012 season and it is in your backyard. Just ask anyone who has done it before, the will tell you this is one you do not want to miss..

Can you pay when you regiester or do you have to use the bank draft deal. If so, I will be SOL till november.

Doh...you are right. I remember there being hikers everywhere last year.

What's up guys, I am over at Spang but am signed up for the ride as well, and wanted to see if I could join your group so atleast at the beginning I can have someone to meet up with. Any problem with that? If not then I assume I just watch this thread and you will discuss where you are meeting/parking and all that. For those who have done it in the past, do you race this or are most just having a good time and surviving?

Of course you are welcome to join us, that's what we do this for! Yes, just watch this thread and that info will come as it is cobbled together.

You can push your pedals as hard as you want. Some of us are competitive, some like to suffer, and some like to just have a good time on the bike. These marathon events do have podiums, but 75% of the participants just do the ride for completion and fun.

You are always free to join up on a group ride, weekend ride, or event!

Welcome to KMC Cycling!!! This is a non-competitive, go-at-your-own-pace ride that you will not forget. Think of it as a MASSIVE Group ride with Rest Stops along the way to take care of your hydration and nutrition needs. Last year we all met at the parking lot close to the start and rolled to the start together so meeting up is beforehand will not be a problem. Hook up with Saber Cycling (most of which are returning real soon) and talk to Michael, who attended last year and had a blast. See y'ah on Trail...

Sushi stop in the woods, and beer at the top of the big hill. They do a great job at this event.

What is the deadline for paying? Funny how we pay money to get our asses kicked.

I just checked the web site and there are 558 riders signed up, three more then what are allowed to ride in the marathon. That means that if you are the last to pay for your spot you might not make it in. According to the web site, those who have yet to pay will receive an email this week...
