Sweet...so you got the VW?? I'm looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately, I will be MIA for the near future. I have a pretty rip-roaring sciatica going after my last ski trip, so will be resting the back. Hopefully back in the saddle again soon. Have fun!

It's not the original VW I was trying to get from the CU. However, what this one lacks in efficiency and reliability, it makes up for in character and versatility! Sleeps 4 and has a complete kitchen …
Rest up. I hope to see you back on the bike soon!

I think there's a few of us registered. Gonna rock the club kit and try not to look like it hurts so much on that first climb. After party depends on everyone else, I have yet to see that happen with everybody finishing at different times then moving on to family schedules. I'm down for a chow run afterwards, for sure. New asian joint in Landstuhl, you know...

I see 6 KMC riders on the start list. I'm game for riding together as the red and white pain train, followed by post ride refreshments. I’ll be headed out from Kaiserslautern if anyone wants a ride.

He is in Mackenback now, not Waldfischbach. Not as bad as it used to be.

I can meet you at your house. I live in Makenbach now and that's only about five miles from you.

Since your closest, I think you should be responsible for making sure RR get's to the Ride??? But then again, both of you have just been a memory on Trail lately...

Gasbock was even better this year. This truely is a great event with awesome trails. I highly recommend it for 2013.
Re: Gäsbock 12 Lambrecht Marathon
There is less traffic at the back of the pack. I'm glad they did not start pulling up trail markers before we finished. I walked away with a bruised rib or two, from one of my falls. It's probably a good thing we arrived in time for the alcohol free beer or it could of been worse!
Great event!

No doubt! I didn't expect such an awesome singletrack descent to shred coming down from the beer tent, it really is a good thing the beer was alcohol free. Good ride!

I still have perma-grin Hell of a ride.
Re: Gäsbock 12 Lambrecht Marathon
It may have taken longer to complete the Ride this year but I had much more fun then last and did a lot less Hike-a-bike...one of the many reasons I'm stoked over my personal accomplishments and can't wait to do it again next year!!!
