Re: Anybody riding tomorrow 4 Mar 12
Ok...I think I came up with what I think is the Master Plan to get at least 1K mtrs of vert and still ride with the Buds.
Arrive Landstuhl Castle 0758hrs by motor vehicle
Depart Landstuhl castle by MTB at 0800hrs
Arrive and greet Spooky (+ others???) at G’woog 0900hrs
Depart G’woog for Group Ride when assy complete
Arrive G’woog upon completion of Group Ride
Depart G’woog for Landstuhl Castle shortly there after
Arrive back at vehicle after much suffering for the ride home with the aid of fossil fuel
But then again if this Chimay gets the best of me I might just go straight to the G’woog by motor vehicle at 0900hrs…but then again, if someone would decide to meet me at Landstuhl I might be persuaded to commit to said Master Plan…

I will give it a few Mississippi's at 0900 just to give you some slop time. I think we should hit up Chimay for a sponsorship deal as much as the fellas seem to like drinking it! I have a huge bottle for Gasbok this year BTW. The 1.5 liter chimay blue will likely see it's demise in Lambrecht.

Awesome Ride today!!!
Gsmolin, we really could have did without the Hike-a Bike!!!
Spooky, the ride from the Woog to the Castle was pure PAIN!!!
*** Note to those riding the Single Track from the Castle to Kinsbach***
There's some logging activity going on just before Kinsbach that is not well marked and before you know it you'll be deep into a Hike-a-Bikeathon

I truly felt bad watching you pedal away from the Woog.

Still did the climbs in a decent gear but you know what they say: "Pain is just weakness leaving the body"

Re: Anybody riding tomorrow 4 Mar 12
yeah, having the bike ride me up the side of the muddy hill wasn't fun.
mark if you didn't see on the way back, it was good that we cut out when we did; the trail is closed all the way to where the singletrack trailhead is there after you climb up from that pond area and pass the shrine on the left.
