Mititary Races so far for this Year

Post by Sharpbike on Tue Feb 14, 2012 12:13 pm

All not looking good for the racing this year on the US Army side. It looks like low participation has lost a few of the races. I will keep you post when I hear more.

While we're at it, here's the latest for the 2012 Mountain Bike Series:

We currently have Hohenfels on 9 Jun, Kaiserslautern on 21 Jul, Bamberg on 11 Aug, and Garmisch on 8 Sep.

There's still a possibility for other sites to join in on the MTB Series, but we expect to move ahead with a firm plan no later than mid-February.

Thanks for your interest in this program, and with best wishes for a great 2012!

Thanks for the info Jim. I hope to make it to a race or two after I get back from Afghanistan. I'm hoping the 160-200k a week over here (Kandahar) on my 29r is at least keeping my legs from withering away. I guess we'll see! I'll be back early April, and ready to catch the pain train again.
