Possible mascott Empty Possible mascott

Post by Jonesy Tue Nov 23, 2010 10:16 pm

OK, all this work on the website has got my creative juices flowing.

I liked the idea of borrowing the Arkansas Razorback as a mascot based on the RACC tradition of incorporating it into their designs. Also I believe we voted the official mascot to be the wild pigs of the trails we ride.... with that in mind I created the below logo/mascot that captures that spirit, and at the same time gives us a logo that is instantly recognizable as a cycling thing. that way, if people see our products out of the corner of their eye (i.e. a poster on a cork board or a banner on a stand at the KMC) they instantly recognize it as having to do with cycling and if they're a cyclist they are interested even before they read the text...

So what do y'all think? I need to clean up the lines and make it professional looking but I wanted some opinions first... aslo if anyone is really good with computer art and wants to take a stab at digitizing this and cleaning up the lines, let me know
