Re: Clothing re-order?
I sent Voler an email asking some questions for reorder. I will update as soon as I hear from them.
Question: Is everyone OK with going back to Voler? I know it's good quality, but it is expensive. This makes it difficult for some members to purchase entire kits. Just a thought, Justin brought up this store http://www.eclipsecycling.com/
Could take a look at doing business with them? They have some awesome prices.
This one is based in Portugal.

Voler's response
This is what I wrote:
Mr. Mclnerney,
Hello. My name is Dan Perez and I have a question regarding reopening an order.
What exactly do we need to do?
Also, do you offer any type of discounts? Can we reduce our minimum quantity to three?
Are we still able to use our current design to reorder or are we going to have to pay a new set up fee?
Is it possible to have orders shipped to the individual instead of a mass mailing to one address?
His response:
Hey Daniel,
Oct 31 at 8:58 PM
To'Daniel Perez'
First, let me know when you want to have the order due (or when you want it to ship) so I can book the dates in our schedule. On reorders it take about 4 weeks from when the order is due until shipping.
The minimums are going to be 5 pieces from the category that you wish to order from, if you are going to do a reorder we will also give you the same price breaks as your last order and there are no setup fee at all.
We have your design on file so there is no issue there.
We can set up an online ordering site and each person can order their own gear and have it ship to their own address.
If you have any other questions, just let me know.
Best regards,
Bill McInerney

Re: Clothing re-order?
RR the categories also changed to make it easier to meet the minimums. I believe that it no longer matters if it is a short or long sleeve jersey. A jersey is a jersey for the purpose of meeting the minimum.

Re: Clothing re-order?
I would like to get a commiment from the folks that want to purchase something, then we can open the store get all orders in and wait for delivery. I'll start another thread just for this.

Re: Clothing re-order?
Do you guys still have the images that where used to create the Voler kit? I does not look to hard to set up the design on the eclipsecycling website. Would give people another option.
If you guys can send me the design I can give it a shot.

I asked Mike about it and it is lost, but I think John (eurotrash) has it.

Re: Clothing re-order?
We need to decide we want to do. If we go to another maker and others want to stay with voler, that means that the voler folks will not make the minimums. This is not fair to those folks.

Re: Clothing re-order?
My opinion: I would recommend keeping Voler the "official" kit by not allowing the artwork/pig to be used for other endeavors.
Eclipse cycling could be used for custom one-off's, personal designs that may share similar colors with the Team Kit, but different enough not to be confused. The one event I can think of maybe SiS, where having multiple kits makes sense.
Voler is American made, good quality, and we have a design without sponsors that can stand the test of time. Minimums are 5. Yes, a little expensive, but I have my old Voler college kits from XX years ago that still function, maybe a little transparent in places, but ok especially in Europe. I just make sure RoadRage isn't behind me.
