Rodalben MTB metric century Sunday April 7
I plan on getting in the first century of the season this Sunday.
Riding from the ramstein area, down to rodalben, a full loop of rodalben then riding back.
Starting from my village at about 06:30, I'll head through ramstein at about 6:45, and Landstuhl at about 7:00.
Then the route goes down to Rodalben, where I will meet up with the late risers and drivers at 8:30 to start the A-side. Plan is to keep a moderate but steady pace and complete the full loop in 3.5-4hours, then head back north.
I reserve the option to cut the loop short OR take the train home if I bonk.
Pace will be moderate/sustainable--rough guesstimate; probably 12-14 miles per hour for there and back, and maybe 10 mph or so on the trail.
Planning for one rest at Lidl, a rest at the gravel lot, and a rolling rest once or twice per side.
Post if you are interested in joining me or even just meeting up at Lidl for the trail portion.
