After work rides around LRMC
I been doing a short ~30 minute ride around the good parts of LRMC, parking near Gate 3 after work this week. I been the only soul on the trail for the most part. I typically get there close to 1700. Do a lap that lasts around 30 minutes and then head home. Welcome anyone else that wants to join. It's dark and there is a hell-u-va lot of leaves out there and the rocks stay pretty slick, been having a blast :-D

I work at LRMC and ride every day to work. I am always up for a ride. When Mr. Sun stays around longer, I would love to plan some post work rides.

@bikedent: i don't ride to work a ton now, but work @ LRMC too. last spring/summer/fall I'd ride to work then ride out to kindsbach and back at least once a week. 1700 is too late for me--when are you done w/ work usually? I'm done earlier and by 1700 on riding days, I'm usually done and riding back home to feed the wife and kids.

Re: After work rides around LRMC
You guys reviving my thread. :-D I haven't attempted to ride there since December. I been just commuting to work lately.
I wouldn't mind checking out the trails. In November they were massively covered by leaves. Miss the leaf blowing we did in the states in the fall.

Re: After work rides around LRMC
they were pretty leaf-y last week when i rode to work.
need some sort of attachment for the back of my bike that would rake the leaves off the trail. or mount a leaf blower to the front!
I'm thinking jonesy could probably come up with something like that....

My husband works at LRMC. I'm sure he would be interested. He would have to go around 1700 or so. Maybe 1630 on a Friday.

Replacing the brake lines on my bike tomorrow which is going to require a lot of creative dremel work... Trying to put a 5mm Goodrich line into a 4mm fitting!
Re: After work rides around LRMC
It's time to start the group ride from the castle on Tuesdays again, for sure. Tues after next we will be back on non-DST, so let's get on it!
That said, I'm wheezing like a geezer on the bike, so for now I'm going to be pushing an easy pace (easy is another word for slow).

Re: After work rides around LRMC
There is a lot of leaves after you get past the ~400m mark where not that many people venture.
Re: After work rides around LRMC

Re: After work rides around LRMC
When I been riding lately I am just parking outside Gate 3 or LRMC and the gravel area. I'm not coming from the Burg, just doing the fun stuff around the hospital once, maybe twice.
