Getting into Racing Empty Getting into Racing

Post by dord04 Thu Jul 26, 2012 9:03 pm

Was wondering if you guys know how the racing thing works here. I meant to get into it in the states, but never did. I assume it's like the states where you start at Cat 5 and work up. Do you have to register somewhere? What is the Cat 5 equivalent? Ich spreche kein Deutsch so I have a hard time decrypting the websites.

There are a number of variables depending on the type of racing you want to do. Some races will have a hobby class, but most races require you to have a German racing license. To hold a German racing license, you must belong to a German club. There are a number of options for clubs. If you can attend the meeting on Tuesday the 31st, I'm sure we could answer all of your questions.

Hope this helps.
