Please let me know if you would like me to take something out for you such as EZ-up (I have one but we need at least three) tents and tables(a fest table would be nice). Also, I'm still looking for a small gas grill. Last year it was really nice to cook up a Schwank at 0330hrs in the morning.
Dude I have all three of those items. I have an EZ up, a fest table with two benches and a small suitcase size propane grill. I would gladly put 'em up for use, but I would need for you to come by and pick it all up though.

Re: Schlaflos im Sattle 2012
I'm bringing:
-full size grill
-tent big enough for three, with beds for two, though my wife and youngest daughter may be there with me THU evening
-I can probably procure a fest bench set (maybe two if needed).
-bike stand
-I plan on BBQing a large hawg-leg, y'all from north of Atlanta might know it as pulled pork, and north of Virginia you might call it bbqed pork shoulder, anyway I plan on cooking that all-day Friday for consumption with copious amounts of beer and bourbon fri night!
Someone bringing tools?
Lanterns?

Re: Schlaflos im Sattle 2012
Do we think we need two fest bench sets (2 benches and a table) or just one?
I might have an additional canopy/easy up if we need another.

IMO, one table w/two benches will be enough because there will be plenty of folding chairs that people will be bringing...It's just nice to have a table to eat on. As for the EZ ups, three to four should be good for the number of people we have...

Gentlemen,
We need to get cracka-lackin on plans for Team TBD. How about some name suggestions? Also, are we planning to wear the team kit, or should we seek out something a little more "appropriate" for such an event?

Re: Schlaflos im Sattle 2012
Ok, slow morning, I'll bite.
Nelly's Ninjas (ode to our sponsor)
The Velocipedes
Vagabond Velocipedes
Two Docs and a couple Einhorns
The Catheters (great band! But, it’s a balance of team make up, and the discomfort that this event may bring)
Rev. Lars and the Steam Rollers (I am ordained. Really.)
Rev. Lars and the _______________ ( Insert any noun here)
Velo Doc and … _________________ ( Insert any noun here)
As far as team kits ... wool would be acceptable. I think we can do better than the standard team kit. Bear costumes!?!

You are guaranteed an award if you do the race in you B-day suit. I like Rev. Lars and the Choirboys, always preaching to the choir on how fast they are...JK of course...
or how 'bout "The Chubby Chasers", cause you know you going to be chasing the tail end of the race for the first couple of hours...

Re: Schlaflos im Sattle 2012
here's a couple I had been thinking of:
docs and oddballs... cause we got two of each...
Rx4speed.. rx for the docs among us, 4 for how many we are and well speed...
Team Green, because we are definitely the most Army heavy team...
Although, Calling ourselves Nelly's Nude Ninjas and doing the race in speedos and ninja masks, wth Thursty Nelly's grease-pebciled on our backs would probably be unprecidented.
I've got my speedo ready just in case...
if not that, then i like the Rev. Lars bit, but we need to follow it up with so ething good.
as to kit... I say if we don't do something TOTALLY off the wall, we use the KMC cycling kit, just to keep the club well-represented.

Rev. Lars and:
the re-treads
the Saw-Bones
or even Rev. Lars Jones and the Saw-Bones....
Not sure if y'all are familiar with that term but saw-bones is a colloquialism for doctor...

We could work the costume thing. George and I could wear cut-off scrubs over our cycling bibs and have some surgical masks/caps on. The reverend could wear some kind of choir gown get-up and Jonesy...well jonesy could wear one of those bright yellow banana hammocks from Borat.

I like where this is going! I read an article that along with his post ride sauna sessions, Taylor Phinney was testing the banana hammock, for the London games. Although still untested in competition, studies show a 234% increase in power output and a 73% reduction in drag in on bike training. Sex appeal is TBD, as the insturmentation broke during testing.
