Need MORE Light!
Looking to pick up a helmet light for winter night rides. I have the magic shine "1300", it would be great for bar mounted use. Just doesnt have enough "spot" light
Want something with a little more spot light action. I know more than a few of you guys are rocking Magic Shines as well. Any opinions?

I like the magic shine 900 (often sold in bundle with the 1300) for helmet/spot use. It's a lot more focused than the 1300... IMHO.

Re: Need MORE Light!
If you can pick up a nite rider slick rock 900 off of chainlove, it is an awesome light for helmet use. very nice and bright spot light.

Um, riding at night should be like riding at night, ya know like in the dark...Having anything more than 600 Lumens total 200 on top and 400 on the bars, is like riding in daylight. Less is best!!

900 on the bars and 900 on the helmet. I like to see what I crash into.

Isn't that what Buler runs? That thing is a flamethrower.
I run 900 on the bars, 900 on my head. Usually run them on 30%, and only go full bright if things get fast or dangerous. No depth perception on the terrain with only one light. Lack of light is never the cause of my night ride crashes. Pilot stupidity is usually what causes those.
