New to Ramstein area
I'm new to the Ramstein area and looking to get back into riding. I just spent the last year in the desert and haven't ridden since late 2009. I used to ride with a group and always had a blast. I live on Vogelweh, and I would like to find a group or a few people or a person (or whatever) who is/are local to that area and interested in riding. I don't know the area that well and I don't feel like getting lost either. Thanks.

Welcome. You are in luck. We have a group ride that leaves from just south of of Vogelweh on Thursdays at Gelterswoog. It is a no drop mtb ride with a great group of folks. Look forward to riding with you.

I forgot to mention I stick to the road; no mountain biking for me.

Road is the way to go!
We usually have some sort of group weekend ride, Kendall krock1 is organizing one this weekend. During the week we don't have any real reoccuring rides, but there is a German ride on Tuesday (fast) Thursday (still somewhat fast) ride that leaves from Quidersbach.
