Mission Statement

The K.M.C. Cycling Club is a diverse group of people from across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) brought together by a common interest in cycling and cycling advocacy. Whether through racing, group rides, community involvement or social events centered on cycling, K.M.C. Cycling's primary purpose is to further the sport of cycling in the KMC, and provide a valuable cycling outlet to its members. We are a not-for-profit organization that values diversity, friendship and, above all, a good ride.

So my stand came in the mail today...oh yeah it is sweet. When the girl at the post office grunted putting it on the counter, I knew it was going to be awesome. Nothing like a box that makes you feel like you are getting your moneys worth. I have been building and truing wheels for over 20 years with cheap stands and getting by. Don't know why I never sprung for this before. It hurts spending that much money on something you can't ride, but it is NICE. I put it on the kitchen table as the center piece, but apparently my wife wasn't as impressed with it as I was.

Bring it on. I went through and trued all the wheels in my house (14 of them). Now it is just a pretty piece of hardware.
