Mission Statement

The K.M.C. Cycling Club is a diverse group of people from across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) brought together by a common interest in cycling and cycling advocacy. Whether through racing, group rides, community involvement or social events centered on cycling, K.M.C. Cycling's primary purpose is to further the sport of cycling in the KMC, and provide a valuable cycling outlet to its members. We are a not-for-profit organization that values diversity, friendship and, above all, a good ride.

(moderator note-  started new thread for 2013.  Please continue to post your status each week!)

Starting from the Landstuhl Castle parking lot, this ride is around 1.5-2.5 hours, give or take, depending on the group and the route. This route consist of fairly technical single track. Lots of rocks and roots. A very fun trail. Post if you are going to make it! See ya there.

I will be leading the ride from the castle this Tuesday, 02 April. Hope to see some of you there now that we have daylight!

I will try to keep the forum calendar module up to date, but have to do it manually, since there is no recurring event function...

Maybe we can do kindsbach on the return leg. I'm sucking wind from the long, food-laden stateside leave that I am still jet lagged from. I think the kindsbach side should be incorporated into the Tuesday ride regularly, though. See you guys there.

Definately not a full-faced helmet rkind of trail...unless you're accident prone. I guess you can never be too safe.
