Promotive deal
I thought I'd share this with everyone in case any of you didn't know, being in the military or Civ servant makes you eligible for a ton of awesome pro deals. What are pro deals? They are significantly reduced prices that companies provide to certain professionals, the military being included, on their merchandise. The best way to get all at once is to go to http://www.promotive.com/ and sign up to get an account. When you sign up, use your personal email address. Once they establish an account for you, sign back in and apply to be approved for the Air Force or Army team. You will have to use your military email address when applying for the Air Force or Army team so they can verify that you are actually in the military. Once approved, you'll have access to over 250 companies that give huge discounts (I've seen up to 65%). Some big name companies that aren't on there that do have pro deals are North Face, Mountain Hardware, and Columbia. You have to apply for these companies individually. Just google "Name of Company" pro deal (ex. Mountain Hardware pro deal) and you will find the site to apply for those companies individually. Enjoy.
Just some quick deals I have seen are 45% off Crank Brothers, 25% off Rocky Mounts, 30% off Manitou, 50% off Jelly Belly sport beans.

Nice
I signed up last night, and was immediately impressed with the variety of companies offering professional discounts. In addition to several bicycle brands (Crank Brothers was a high point here) I was especially excited to see Icebreaker on the list (Icebreaker makes extremely comfortable merino wool clothing, including active base layers, T-shirts and polos, and sweaters.
There were two different minimalist running shoe brands, and tons of outdoor companies. Pretty awesome.
