Bikepolo Friday August 24
We have 3 of our four bikepolo regulars ready to play next Friday afternoon, and I am working hard to chisel away at the willpower of the fourth and convince him to join us.
Anybody else out there wanna come give this madness a try?
Still determining location and exact time but it will be either on base at Landstuhl, or near downtown ktown.

Are you thinking in the morning or afternoon? I can probably schedule a few hours to polo.

Afternoon... If your in we can start pinning down a time...
I was thinking maybe starting at 3 or 4 play for a couple hours, then those of us who have time and inclination can go grab some food and hit a pub for a few pints...

OK, so we'll plan to start at 1600.
Is there an objection to doing it in K-Town this time?
I've got a spot or two I am scouting out, buying those fail we could use the court on Daenner Kaserne.
I plan on grabbing some pizza afterward and then several Guinness at Nelly's.

Best I could do for Daenner locality is 1730-ish on a Friday. If that is not a problem for you, it is not a problem for me! Gainfully employed and fashionably late.

That might make for a late evening... Shall we just shoot for the Landstuhl location?eurotrash wrote:Best I could do for Daenner locality is 1730-ish on a Friday. If that is not a problem for you, it is not a problem for me! Gainfully employed and fashionably late.
Can you make that at 1600?

OK,
1700 at Landstuhl. Does that work for everyone?

Re: Bikepolo Friday August 24
I just remembered, my unit is doing an O-day Friday, which means I CAN be there at 1600... Damn, I am getting senile. Caveat is that my division is on a big project starting this week, and that could potentially ruin any after-work plans. Fack, sorry to be difficult... I think the odds are good for Friday, though.

... OK ... Well then, let's do this...eurotrash wrote:I just remembered, my unit is doing an O-day Friday, which means I CAN be there at 1600... Damn, I am getting senile. Let's plan for the Landstuhl court at 1600.
That way, if you have to cancel at the last minute, Justin hasn't launched yet to make it across town. Justin's been pretty quiet, but I'm betting that with a newborn at the house he'd probably rather play somewhere that's closer for him, and the Landstuhl location fits that bill.
As much as I want to support Nelly's it just ain't seeming to work this time...
Mike, if bike polo should fall through if John's job intercedes, then I'mgame for sone SS urban riding, maybe do some scouting/planning for the alley cat, followed by a few beers at Nelly's.

Landstuhl is convenient but I'm good with any location. The playground could be quite busy being the last Friday of freedom for kids.

SOrry, but I might have to opt out on Friday. My coworker just backed out of an inspection. Might be in Graf on Friday. I'll know more by the end of the day.

Ok, well shall we shoot for 1600 at Daener... The court there should be as deserted as ever...BigWheels wrote:Landstuhl is convenient but I'm good with any location. The playground could be quite busy being the last Friday of freedom for kids.
Then we can grab grub somewhere and support Nelly's...
This is all depending on whether Mike let's something like his livelihood interfere with bikepolo!
Let us know as soon as you can Mike.

Bad news. I have to do my job. Lame!
I'm confident there is someone else that is interested in playing. No experience necessary.
