Hi all new to the scene
Okay so the weather is starting to get nice here in the KMC ! YEAH ! Now my question is where to start? I would like to get into MTB/trail riding but how ? Any good info on where to purchase a good bike ? I did take a look at the ones in the BX.. I have an old MTB I've done a few local trails nothing major on but I am ready to get a little deeper into it. Any help or suggestion ??

Welcome!!! The first question is how much do you wanna spend??? The second is what kind of riding do you wanna do??? If you have the time I would suggest you go to Wheel sports (one of our sponsors) and look around. They have a good selection in just about every price range. The next thing to do is show up to one our Group Rides and pick our brains to fill in all the blanks...see y'ah on Trail!!!

cool thanks for the info checking the website now , I have not really settled on a price range just yet, mainly i am looking to get a couple of weekend trail rides in. I'm not into road (as of yet) . So a bike that is able to handle trail conditions with ease is preferred.

Don't bother with the PX itself. They have 2 price points: $25 and $2500! All you get is walmart bikes or a haphazard collection of OK Treks and C-Dales for too much money.
Outdoor rec is not bad, though their prices aren't the MOST competitive, they do have a pretty broad range of price points. Plus, they'll almost always be able to knock off 10-15% of the price if you just haggle them a little. OF course you have to like Konas as that is ALL they carry.
And of course, our sponsor, as Mark mentioned.

Bike Max in Manheim right next to Ikea has a HUGE selection, and with a VAT, you get 19% off.
