Chit, it's forecast to snow in Stromberg on Saturday, with a daytime high of 2C! You know I want to, though. Start a thread?

Tonight- first Thursday ride following the time change, so it'll be dark from the start. It should be a nice 7 grad, not too cold, and the rain is supposed to be just a mist. The trees should provide plenty of cover to stay dry enough.

I got my gear loaded and ready, so anyone willing to join me- post up!

Anyone game to ride tomorrow afternoon? I am test riding a Jekyll from Frank and need a decent ride to stretch its legs. I will ride tomorrow either way, but it would be nice to ride with a few others.

Tomorrow is my last day with my Frau before she heads to the States for a few weeks, but I invite you to ride Annweiler or Neustadt this weekend.

I am game for a ride this weekend as well; I would prefer Neustadt, since i will be test riding and want a known track. I will either have an Occam or a 29er Trigger for that ride. I prefer Sundays for rides, but can do Saturdays. When (day and time) and where?

I will still be heading to the 'Woog tomorrow afternoon. I will head out early ~3-4 PM if no one joins me.

Sunday is cool. The location will ultimately be Dude's call. All tracks are known... by somebody... Not sure about how that affects your testing regimen, but I cash promise hills, mud, forest, and singletrack, typical of the Pfälzerwald.

I would think the F-Trail would be a better Trail to truely test a mechine such as the Jekyll

You're right. You better not go; your bike won't work like it is supposed to while on a MTB ride anywhere but a familiar trail.

What??? I was referring to the type of Trail for the capabilities of the Bike...

You know I like to give you a hard time on the forum, Mark! Besides, my sense of humor is to play with the meanings of thw words chosen. Not only that, if I don't tease you it means I don't like you- take the compliment! But to stay on topic, it's like the Hindu saying- There are many paths...



I'll probably pull these posts into a separate thread so we don't taint the Thursday Woog thread too badly...

Since no one seems to be heading to the Woog this evening, I am riding the Landstuhl castle route, starting in about ten minutes.

Is this Thursday ride still happening?

i would like to see the group start riding the Tuesday and Thursday rides again, as the days start getting longer. It has still been a bit cold, as winter seems to be hanging on longer than last year.

Forecast looks good for next week but we may need lights this early in the season....

Time changes this weekend and we should hit 50 next week.

Yep, been waiting for that time change. I will be there with bells on when next week rolls around.

Out of town next week, but will be on the jump after that. Plan to ride the slower roadie ride, and which ever MTB ride is the opposite day of the road ride.

If weather permits, I'll be at Gelterwoog next Thursday at 1800. Thanks to all.
