The K.M.C. Cycling Club is a diverse group of people from across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) brought together by a common interest in cycling and cycling advocacy. Whether through racing, group rides, community involvement or social events centered on cycling, K.M.C. Cycling's primary purpose is to further the sport of cycling in the KMC, and provide a valuable cycling outlet to its members. We are a not-for-profit organization that values diversity, friendship and, above all, a good ride.

Cross Duathlon Monsheim 4 March

My german neighbor just told me about this event. He sees me run and knows I MTB. He and his wife are tri-geeks and will be doing it. He said most ride MTB for the bike portion, some ride cross bikes. It is between Sembach and Mainz in A63. He said it has rolling hills, and isn't straight up like Trier!

Anybody interested??

Weather is looking like mid 50s for tomorrow and no rain. I am thinking about heading up to this race to shake out the winter cobwebs. It appears that they have same-day registration. Let me know if you are interested and maybe we could hook up to drive. Looks to be a 45min drive or so. I plan to do the longer course, but will not be going 100%...it's been a long winter off!
