Super prestige cyclocross trip

There was some discussion at the meeting about getting a group together to go see a super prestige cx race in Belgium. Looks like the race on 23 Dec in Diegem, just north of Brussels, would be the closest. I am tentatively planning to go see this one. I could take 3 others in the car, or 5-6 more in the van. Let me know.

There is a world cup race in Namur, Belgium also. About twenty mile west of Liege.

The WC race in Namur is on the 18th of Dec...that could work too. If anyone is interested in going, then post up which one and we can go from there.

I am definately in for the 18th. There might be some folks from Ramstein I work with going too. It is close enough to make a fairly easy day trip with beer store stop on the way home to replentish my supply.

I'm in for any and all of them.
I can help with gas and beer but have no vehicle to offer.

So it looks like we have 3 or 4 to go on the 18th. I can take more, if interest grows. I have a minor surgery on the 15th, but it shouldn't slow me down...maybe. Anyway, Let's tentatively say we are going the 18th. I'll drive and we can figure out the rest from there.

I'm still planning on the World cup Cyclocross race in Namur, Belgium this Sunday the 18th. I've been looking far and wide for schedule info, but am coming up dry. If anyone can find the schedule of events for the day, then please show me the way. Looks like under 3 hours to the venue, so we shouldn't need to get going too early. Let me know if you're still interested.

I have updated my contingency plan by creating an additional set of keys for my apartment. Leaving them in the hands of "morning person" this time. Should have 24 hour coverage, should my trip to the garbage can ever go south again!
Just let me know what time you want to leave Sunday. I can meet at your house or near the Landtstuhl Station or Mc Donald’s.

Thanks for the schedule, Matt. So we should plan to arrive there a little before the Women's race. That's also when the elite men are practicing. What do you think about shooting to get there by 12:30? That's an hour before the women's race, and i'm sure that it's gonna be hell-a packed, so we will need the time to get parked, to the venue and get a beer and crazy good Belgian pommes in our hands before the race. We can meet at the McDonalds in Landstuhl and jump right on the A6 from there. Let's plan on 0900 at McDonalds. Let me know if this works.

So I had my procedure yesterday. Doing pretty well today, but a little swollen. If things go well tomorrow, then we should be good. It's going to be 6 hrs in the car and a fair amount of time on the feet, so I'll let you know for sure tomorrow.

Sounds good. See you at McDonald's at 0900. Also, as a general reminder...we are crossing borders, so everyone should bring their passport...just in case. I would hate to have to leave someone at the border :O) Also, I just got a new video camera, but don't have SD cards for it yet, so if anyone has one, preferably big GB, that they could spare, then I would love to use it.
