Sunday Nov. 6 Rodalben full loop

Post by Jonesy on Mon Oct 31, 2011 7:09 am

Full loop of Rodalben starting at 6:30 from the lidl.

Early bird paced ride followed by an easier No-Drop ride.

6:30- B-Side at 13-15kmh avg spd. With 1 or 2 short breaks of 2 min or less. Not a No-Drop, please be able to maintain this pace (the pace is roughly 20% faster than most of the group rides and with little to no stopping). We'll try and knock out the entire b-side then meet at Lidl for the second portion (see below).

8:30- A-Side No-Drop ride from lidl parking lot. No-Drop means you will NOT be left behind. Depending on the group it can be anywhere from 2-3 hours.

Bring 5 euros and keep a half-hour free at the end of the ride and you can experience the most generous doner in the KMC.

R.S.V.P., and I'll bring you beer to go with your post-ride doner!

I'll be there for the 0630 and probably stay around for the 0830.

If you know before hand that you'll definitely stick around for the second portion, let me know and we can carpool.

Ok, I'll let you know by tomorrow, but I am 90% sure I will be doing the whole enchilada. To hard to pass up the Yufka and beer combo!

Shaping up to be quite a ride. Whether is supposed to be great... I've managed to tempt a couple of people in to joining me for the early bird run. And it looks like more showing up for the 8:30.

Should be fun!

Not to bring work into the deal here, but make sure Matt buys a few beers for afterwards. Ramstein's newest selection for Chief Master Sergeant. Congratulation Matt! I can't be there to celebrate with you, but I will find you very soon.

Good ride fellas! I did manage to drag Patrick and Justin out of bed at the crack of dawn, and then be last one actually ready to roll. We got started about 15 min late but still had a good sporting ride for most of the B-side. Patrick did hang in there despite having a pretty rough crash before we even got to the trail!
Matt met us for an A- side loop at a somewhat milder, but still not languid pace.
A microbrew and overstuffed yufka down the gullet and we called it a day.
Thanks guys, enjoyed the ride!
