I am doing good. Took a nasty spill, but I have recovered well. The elbow is not broken but I more than likely have torn something. Thanks to all those that put their cubscout training to work that day. In the words of the Terminator "I'll be back. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Good to hear dan. Didn't you ride off a bridge last year? LOL. I have been waiting all year to bring that up again.

Yea, but I would gladly swap any number of bridge crossing water ballets for this one trail incident. Solid is a much tougher state of matter than liquid. Now that the adrenaline has wore off, pain is starting to replace it.

You will be sore and stiff for sure buddy. Take lots of meds, rest, and your buddy Ronrico. I told you those 29ers were all wrong!

I wouldn't say that, two 29ers went down the same Trail just second before RR without incident and one of them was a HT... Smile Smile Smile

I was moving on that thing. The suspension is so reactive that I think I got over confident and was trying to skip steps instead of riding them like sane people. Very Happy Smile

Glad to hear that nothing is broke off. Crashing sucks, but it is part of this lovely sport of mountain biking!

I actually got to use the first aid kit I am always carrying in the pack. Does anyone know where I can get another space blanket for my first aid kit?

OK now to get back on the thread subject, how many folks are still in for Friday? Rumor has it Holly is going to show up for the ride. Maybe she will bring cookies again

Anyone taking the train from Landstuhl tomorrow morning?
Or if anyone is leaving from the Ramstein/ Landstuhl area and wants to give me a ride? Cool

Its going to a great ride today, weather right now at 1:15am is very plesant. No need for those base layers!

Sadly I am not going to make it this morning. Was up till about 4pm yesterday and only got 2 hours of sleep before shift last night. Feel like loose butthole. Sad
Have fun everyone! Take some pictures for me!...

I didnt make the right train, i wont be there until 8:49.

If the group doesnt want to wait on me, could maybe a stronger rider who knows the route wait, and we'll play catch up, or leave me some markings to follow?

Thanks everybody who could make it out today. It was a great ride. The trails were empty. We passed a total of 4 hikers and a jogger. Unbelievable when compared to last Sunday. Thanks again and I am looking forward to the next ride.
