Sunday Ride

Anybody up for Rodalben this Sunday?

Nobody is riding? I have been bragging to Matt how much better the trails here are going to be than Japan where he just came from. If nothing else, it will be fun to watch him haul his long travel bike up a hill. I won't get back till the 4th of November or I would be out for sure.

Better than Japan? There are some GNARLY trails over there.
I would be down, but heading to the DTM race!

Not sure yet if I can make it Sunday, I rode yesterday and the Trails are MUSH. Rodalben should fare a little better then where I was riding (the next valley over by Clausen) because it doesn't hold much water...be prepare for some resistance training.

I might be able to make it Sunday around 0830.

Sunday is ON! If you are not a big fan of sleep, you can show up and do an early run with me and then meet the rest of the yay-hoos at 8:30 at Lidl... I usually do my early runa t about 6:30... but I will adjust that time based on how I feel at the moment unless someone else has said they're going to show for the early run for sure in which case I can stick to a certain time and location...

Thanks for the offer to show me the trail. I better stick with the 8:30 meeting time. The box with my lights is still MIA in the post. Also, got just a little rust to knock off the legs and lungs from the PCS!

Ok, meeting spot is at the Lidl at 8:30 then? I take it there is only one Lidl store in the town. Let me tell you, I am looking forward to this ride.

Here is a little map. Just take B270 south past Vogelweh. You will see signs for Raldalben after a while. The map should get you the rest of the way from there. You will see Lidl on your right after you make the turn off. The Lidl is marked "A" on the map. From Vogelweh it takes about twentyfive minutes to get there.
