BDR Cycling License Empty BDR Cycling License

Post by eliteabclas Sun Oct 16, 2011 8:46 pm

As a privately recognized club, can we submit an application to BDR (Germany Cycling Federation) for a state or country license, IOT participate in local races that will not admit a UCI license?
For example, the Hessen State Cyclocross race on 27 NOV which only allows racers with a BDR Hesse License. I spoke with the organizer and the only way to participate is to have a license through a local club.

I thought I saw a hobby class for the Hesse race on the 27th (Nov) which would not require a license.

Right now our club is only registered int he US system on base, we don't have the licensing authority etc. of a German Club. Some of the folks, however, are also members of a German club for specifically that reason. You might try talking to Shrpbike or Krocko1 about the details.
