New helmet...woot!

Post by spookyload on Tue Oct 04, 2011 4:52 am

So my patience has paid off. After riding with what we will call a questionable helmet for the end of the year...I have a new helmet. Fleabay had a S-Works helmet on sale dirt cheap. About $200 cheaper than what they were selling for in Germany. Sweet helmet. Bigwave Dave got me jonesing for the Specialized helmet after a woog ride, but I didn't want to pay german retail. Out of luck it even matches my ugly lime green shoes Northwave sent me.

P.S. The cat isn't mine.

Did it come with the clear clip-on aero cover that the British team wore in the Worlds? Razz

Nope. There is talk about that cover though. Any equipment provided to a racer in a UCI sanctioned race from a manufacturer must be available to the consumer. Apparently Specialized isn't selling those covers, and has no plans to do so. That violates the rules, and there aer Cav haters complaining about it.
