Hi, I'm new to the site. Interested in checking out the club and seeing what its all about. I should be able to attend. is there a ride after the meeting?

Hi welcome to the club weeksusaf! I there isn't usually a ride after the meetings. Unless you rode there on your bike. I do believe its illegal to drink and drive anyways

Are there plans for a club photo? If so, we should try to coordinate the kit as much as possible.

Yea, I've got that covered. I can get a Nikon DH1 from work... professional quality digital SLR camera.

If not everyone has shorts, then we could do our jerseys with black shorts, beige shorts, whatever, so long as it all matches. That way we can look somewhat uniform for a photo we may want to use with sponsors, events, etc. We could also to people with full kits in the front and stagger with those that have jerseys-only in the back. Maybe have a couple of bikes as well. One road, one mountain. I know that Dave's MTB matches our kit colors well. Anyone have a red and white road bike? Just some ideas for discussion.

I have beautiful black/red/white 2010 Orca ORBEA that can serve as a model.

I still have not started the build. I am waiting on the new SID WC 29er to come out. I am trying to make this rig under 20lbs. But It will be a challenge. See you at the meeting. Don't forget about family Camp this weekend for SCOUTS!!!!!!!

Don't know if K-Stew is around, but is there an agenda for the meeting tomorrow? I haven't seen one posted, so here are some suggestions:

Team photo(preferably with team kits and bikes)
Old business(I will bring a copy of minutes from the last official meeting)
Treasury report: bank info, sponsorship money collected/spent, what the club has purchased, any money owed to individuals.
Nomimations for officers; to be elected at Sept or Oct meeting
Soldier ride: attendees, ride leaders, support tent.
Normandy ride: riders, support?
Clothing order: retro jerseys, second NW kit order
End of year party? It's been a good one...let's wrap it up right.

Not sure of the address, but if you go to Berg Nanstien, it is the little restaraunt behind it that overlooks Ramstein and Landstuhl.

Not sure about the address... but follow the signs to the 'Burg Nanstein' which means castle Nanstein. Brown sings, picture of a castle on them... park outside the castle (kinda easy, since you can't drive into it ) then go around back of the castle... it's literally in the Castle's back yard.

I put the address into google maps and the point it shows is NOT the correct place. Follow the direction that Spooky and Jonesy gave and you will find it.
