MTB triathlon (pool swim!!) Empty MTB triathlon (pool swim!!)

Last fall my wife and I did a triathlon in the Koln, Dusselldorf area, and had an absolute blast. It was the Menden Cross Triathlon with website below:

http://www.trisportmenden.de/

This years date is August 28th.

It is a 500 meter pool swim, heated pool and they put like 4-6 people in a lane at a time, 50 meter pool

The ride is 8 miles (according to Garmin) with about 1000 feet of elevation gain (again according to Garmin) on fire road the whole way, absolutely no technical skills needed.

The run is 3.6 miles, two climbs in the first two miles then you hit the trails for the second half of the race.

It is a super laid back race, the most laid back triathlon I have done. It is really close to Dusseldorf, which is a cool city and is a great time in general.
