Re: Gwoog- Thursday - 1800 - No Drop MTB ride
I'm down. Probably won't do the full ride since i have a teleclass but I"ll be there for part of it. What time does this ride start?

I'm in unless its pouring outside.
Start time at 6 PM this wk b/c of daylight savings, I assume? Or still start at 5:30 PM this week?
Or, if you're Kendall, 6:15 PM and 5:45 PM, respectively.

Gwoog- Thursday - 1800 - No Drop MTB ride
Meeting at the Gelterswoog parking lot off of B270 at 1800. This is a no drop ride. No one gets left behind. You might want to bring a light just in case it takes a little longer then expected. the ride usually takes around 2 hours.

How well does Gwoog hold up in the rain? Is it going to be a mess? I'm bringing fenders but I haven't ridden it in the rain.

I might have to bail tonight. I need to get a few things done this evening. If I am not there at 1800 don't wait for me.

There is a gravitational warp all around gelterswoog such that no rain falls on the singletrack there, even in a downpour it stays desert dry and easy to ride. See you there!

OK, smartass answer number two and I promise I'm done now!
It's not bad, just watch the leaves, and yeah, some sort of fenderage is a good idea.

Re: Gwoog- Thursday - 1800 - No Drop MTB ride
good ride last night; 5 showed and 2 finished (myself and Mike), though the others stopped early not for lack of effort, but time constraints, injury, and fatigue.
Traills were tacky but not muddy, no rain during the ride, and a nice 55 deg F the whole time.
See you next week.

Thanks for being so diplomatic George, but I'll own up to wimping out... See y'all next week, and hopefully that first 'warm up' climb won't kick my ass so completely!

Re: Gwoog- Thursday - 1800 - No Drop MTB ride
No need to save the legs just go easy and use tonight as conditioning or easy ride to spin and get the legs ready for tomorrows ride. Just do a flatter course! Get out and ride the weather is to nice!
