Rodalben Saturday
Ok, being that sunday is Mothers Day, and beign that last saturday's ride worked out well... at first....
I plan on riding Rodalben this saturday. I'll head out nice and early and do as much of the B side as I can pull off, then I'll drop back into town and meet anyone at 08:30 who wants to ride the a side.
6:00 a.m. (approximately) Early Bird ride, moderate, but steady pace on the B-Side
8:30 a.m No-Drop ride, A-Side
Any takers?

I'll be out of town this weekend and the next, but the first one that my wife hasn't busily planned away I'll be ready to ride.

Since most of all seem to be doing this marathon, I'm going to cancel out on rodalben and just ride locally.

Re: Rodalben Saturday
How does 0830 at the Lidl sound for those of us who do not want to get up at 0500 to go ride?
Re: Rodalben Saturday
I was hoping for 0900 so we could finish around lunch time, thus allowing for a tasty Brat from somewhere.

Re: Rodalben Saturday
For those who are able to rinse the sand out (if you get the reference, good for you, if not... just nevermind), a couple of us will be riding at 6:30ish, and then meet the rest of the gang at 9:00.
Jamie, If we get rolling (i mean wheels on the trail) by around 6:30, we SHOULD be able to complete the B-side by 9:00
PM me your address, and I'll plan on riding over to your house to be there around 6:00 or so.

= I got a big day tomorrow. a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.Road_Rage wrote:My pass was denied. I will be going to France to sight see and shop.

I would like to ride the B-side at 0900. I have only ridden it once, and would like to get to know it better, plus it does have a little gasthouse at the end!

Re: Rodalben Saturday
So what is the group consensus on what side is being done at what time...
If you guys want to do the B Side at 0900 (the side we don't usually do) then us early birds could knock out the A side before meeting you at Lidl...
I'd just rather no go out early, do the B-side, then do it again...

I would like to do the B side again just so I can get a feel for it. Having only ridden it once, I am not sure I could find the start by myself.

Well, Jamie and I can catch the A side, then meet you guys and we can all do the B-side if that works...

Re: Rodalben Saturday
I guess I don't care which side we do first, but would that mean "they" (you know, the guys sleeping in) should park at the dirt lot and not the Lidl?

Re: Rodalben Saturday
No, park at the Lidl... the B-side has amuch nicer flow from the 'reverse' direction (i.e. starting ont he lidl end, and ending at the dirt lot).

Maybe we'll do the A side in reverse as well.

All right then, maybe we'll park in the dirt lot. I'm sure we'll figure it out, no worries. I'll even bring the beer again, so post up if your coming so I'll have enough.Jonesy wrote:Maybe we'll do the A side in reverse as well.
