Monthly TT May 21

Post by Sharpbike on Mon Apr 18, 2011 9:56 am

Ok so this Saturday is the next edition of the KMC CYCLING TT. Bring anything that you want to ride.

The course is a flat 4.2 out and back very smooth and wide road.

Will have Drinks available given to us by our Sponsor PARK!

Registration 9am pre ride 9:30 and start times at 10:00 with 1 minute interval. Fastest person will get a 6 pack beverage. The only thing is you have to leave the bottle with us since there was a deposit.

Please post if you are coming so that I can have an idea of how many people to set up for.

Location is ROB
Go in the gate one to the stop sign after Java. Go straight under A6 then turn right.

I will be set up at the end of the parking lot.
I could use a non rider to assist in timing.

See you all there.
Jim

Road ride afterwards?

Post by velo-doc on Mon Apr 18, 2011 10:02 pm

I am planning on it. Any chance of making it earlier and doing a road ride afterwards? Thanks for making this happen again.

Of course, it depends on Jim, since he has been kind enough to set all this up. Although I do suspect that he would also be up for some miles this weekend....hmmmm Jim?

Steve,

We MTB folks gonna do a ride? If we are not going to do a trail, then I will have to join the Roadies on the ride after the TT. I have not ridden the Orca since October.

I posted about a trail ride at Trail 4 from Hockspeyer. It is going to be a four hour ride though. Would love some company, and I am still working on Steve to join. Trying to get some long miles in before the marathon. It is on the Calander.

Direction to ROB

B270 toward hohenecken like you are going to Vogelweh through the red light. Turn down into the opel Circle like you are going to the Globus but keep going around the circle toward the esso station just after the esso station turn right you that road will take you into ROB. Got passed the Java cafe to the stop sign. Go straight across under the bridge then turn left and you will see a parking lot on the left. We will be there.
