Mission Statement
The K.M.C. Cycling Club is a diverse group of people from across the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) brought together by a common interest in cycling and cycling advocacy. Whether through racing, group rides, community involvement or social events centered on cycling, K.M.C. Cycling's primary purpose is to further the sport of cycling in the KMC, and provide a valuable cycling outlet to its members. We are a not-for-profit organization that values diversity, friendship and, above all, a good ride.

Okay don't all have a heart attack at once. I'm actually posting the minutes in a timely fashion Please pay special attention to the Community OUtreach section since we may need some volunteers. Also please let me know if I missed/forgot something! Here they are:
1. Minutes approved
2. Community Outreach--
ODR group rides--Kirsten will ask Stephen for alternate dates in June as well as talk to him about issues regarding price, incentives, and possible support for other charity events
WTU Support Kleper--trying to put together a 5-7 day ride this summer geared towards the average to below average cyclist (no more than 60k per day), discussed possibly coordinating with the 21st, Jim told POCs for WTU to post on forum. Jim talked to Chad about being POC.
Cub Scout Bike Rodeo--date is July 16th, last year 10-15 children attended and there were five stations geared twoards learning various bike related skills. Jim needs volunteers to assist with the various stations
3. Racing
ROB time trial April 23rd--Jim would like to get some nonriders to run the clock
Ramstein ODR road race--Stephen is interested in coordinating a road race with KMC Cycling. Kirsten will find out if this can be done in the fall since August is booked
Possible informal MTB race/scavenger hunt discussed.
4. PO Status--still waiting...
5. Jersey Vote--red jerseys won based on in person and by proxy votes
6. Open Forum--no issues at this time

Sorry I missed the meeting, but I have a couple of questions. Do you guys need some sponsors? I am personally sponsored by Rudy Project and Fluid Recovery Drink. I can get these sponsorships extended to the team. Please let me know what you think.
