Friday G-woog 0900hrs
The weather doesn't look to bad for Friday so I'm going to attempt a G-woog ride. It should be interesting to see how winter has mixed up the trails.
If anyone cares to join me I'll be starting from the usual spot at the Gelterswoog lake parking lot off of 270 at 1000hrs, just south of Vogelweh.
This will be a two to three hour ride depending on the group. Post if you are going to make it!

I haven't been out to the Woog recently but yesterday the Castle trails were in surprisingly good condition. As of now I'm in, but given my current level of fitness better plan on the three hour tour, going to be a little slow...

I have work Friday, but talked with Steve about going out Saturday. Weather.com says the sun will be out. I am riding even if it means rain gear.

I have to go up to Spang and do some work on the house on Sat so riding is out of the question...if I don't get out on Fri I might not get out...

I think I'll be joining y'all for this one. And as far as drinks afterwards, I'll bring the Guiness if y'all bring your own mugs!

Babysitter is going to be late, I'll try to be there but don't wait for me. Grandma gets here on Wed. though, then it's 3 weeks of riding time.

From what I seen they were soggy but rideable. I had problems keep air in my rear tire so I turned back after the first climb...

Sorry you had so many issues today, Mark. You'll have better luck next time. The trails were good once you got a little elevation. Jonesy and I had a good, albeit leisurely, ride. He bummed himself out by looking at the total mileage towards the end of the ride. His legs were telling him that it had been much...much further:D

Yeah looking down and seeing 30 km on the gps was a heartbreak moment for sure, considering how my legs felt at that point!
Still a good ride. Explored some alternate endings for GWoog.

Yah, hopefully today is a better day!!! I replaced the tube with one I had here at the house and it's been holding 50psi all night. I never found the source of my problem but both tubes had pin holes on the tread side. Looking forward to today's ride!!!
