05 April 0930
Parking Lot #1 lat=49.92825386 lon=7.750951051 at 0930. If the lot is full use one of the others and meet us on the trail.
Once again, it is time to break out the full face helmets and the body armor. The flow trail opens on 5 April.
There is something for everyone. Beginner to Advanced. This is a great opportunity to work on your skills, build confidence and get introduced to a new type of riding. Even if you dont like air time you can still cruise the trails and lay into some berms. On the easy trails there are ways to cut around all of the jumps so you dont have to jump if you dont want to. the Blue and Red marked trails are do-able with a hardtail, but a fully is recommended. Come out and get in on the action.

Bring a lunch and beverage
Try to carpool, the parking lots are small and its better for the planet anyway.
Any questions contact me
Some youtube vids for you to enjoy

I'm good to go for this one. There isn't much in the immediate area, so remember to bring lots of food and water, I know I always come under-prepared. I'm bringing the mid-travel bike with basic pads (crash that one less, hmmm...).

My rainbow is packed up tonight...
But to just let you know there is a possibility I could be late tomorrow or nonexistent at all. Just some horrific personal issues arose tonight in the last 3 hours.

I am thinking about it - taking a day off this week - to do so. Because I missed this weekend due to some unforeseen family stuff happening.

I might head up that way again on the 14th or 15th. But then again shuttles in Neustadt wouldn't be a bad idea either

Yeah after riding a couple of those trails on my trail bike. There are a couple of those that would be really fun on a gravity only bike. I enjoyed that ride a lot last November.
Re: 2014 Stromberg Flowtrail Opener 5 April
Rode there today. Was good to be back on the DH bike again.
I still haven't found how to get over to No-Jokes trail. I wanted to do it today but after pushing the wild hog trail I didn't have the energy to get to No-Jokes.
I did find out one thing. Park in the lot P3. It is the best lot to be in because you can get back to your vehicle with not much effort. Plus it's at the bottom so when you are done you can just coast out to the car. Was brutal pushing back up to P1 at the end of the day!
Had an ambulance today on the road. Some dude laid out next to the jumpy/drop section on Wild Hog
